ORGANIZATIONS
NCCL,
the National Conference for Catechetical Leadership, is an association
of diocesan, parish, and academic catechetical leaders dedicated
to advancing excellence in their profession. Membership also includes
individual and corporate associates and affiliated organizations.
NCCL publishes "Catechetical Leadership," its newsletter
and information journal, as well as other catechetical resources.
NCCL holds an annual conference each spring. www.nccl.org/
NPCD, National Association of Parish Catechetical Directors of Religious Education, advances excellence in catechesis by networking, representing, and empowering parish catechetical leaders. Membership is open to those working either full or part-time in the wide range of parish formational and educational efforts. Membership in NPCD includes membership in the National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA). www.ncea.org/ ODREO, Ohio Directors of Religious Education Organization, is the state organization established to identify, support, and enrich the ministry of the professional director/coordinator of religious education in the state of Ohio. USCCB, The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops is an organization staffed by lay people, priests, and members of religious orders, but whose members are the bishops of the United States, and it is the bishops who direct its activities. The
programs of USCCB range over the spectrum of Catholic concerns-from
prayers and worship to the state of the economy, from revitalizing
parishes to averting nuclear war, from promoting vocations to
