EDUCATION GRANT APPLICATION GUIDELINES
1. Any parish or group of parishes in the Diocese of Toledo may submit a grant application. This grant application is limited to parish religious education programs with a focus on youth and those who work with youth. Technical assistance in completing the grant application, if needed, is available from Catholic Youth and School Services Religious Education Staff. 2. Consortium projects are encouraged. "Consortium" means an ad hoc association of two or more parishes. 3.
Individual parishes and groups of parishes may submit only one grant
4. No more than $1000.00 should be requested by individual parishes. A Consortium or Deanery need not be subject to the $1000.00 limit. 5. Grant monies may be used to enhance current programs or to initiate new programs, but may NOT be used to support existing programs. 6. Programs which have implications for diocesan-wide implementation will be given special preference. 7. Applications must be submitted and signed by both the Pastor/Pastoral Leader and the Catechetical Leader. In submitting a Consortium Grant, each Parish Leader and Catechetical Leader must sign the application. In submitting a Deanery Grant, the Dean must sign the application and indicate that the majority of the Parish Leaders and Catechetical Leaders from his deanery approve of the grant. 8. Those whose grants are approved must complete an evaluation form at the conclusion of the project. These forms will be sent with the letter of approval. 9.
