| SCHOOL UNIFORMS The cost of a complete school uniform is between R 500 ($62.50) and R 600 ($75). A complete uniform includes: Boys: trousers, shirt, shoes, socks Girls: tunic (jumper), blouse, shoes, socks If you include a jersey (sweater) it would be an additional R 80 ($ 10). It can get very cold in South Africa in the winter, so the children wear "track suits" to school for warmth. A "track suit" costs R 100 ($12.50). |

When asked why, he said, ‘I’m saving it to take home and share with my mother. She is hungry too.’ “ Any amount raised for the Feeding Schemes would help greatly. |
