"Moodle Survey"

~ Please submit by August 28, 2007 ~

The last several years, CYSS has provided an online course tool called Blackboard that a number of the high schools have utilized. This year we will begin using "Moodle" instead of Blackboard.

Moodle is a course management system (CMS) - a free, Open Source software package designed using sound pedagogical principles, to help educators create effective online learning communities. Moodle can be used to support what happens in the classroom as a "hybrid" tool, or used strictly as an online course by itself.

Some of the features include: assignments, chat, lessons, quiz, resources, survey and wikis.

Our Moodle web site is: http://online.cyss.org/moodle/

Following is a survey to determine your school's interest in using this tool immediately or in the future. Questions, contact Shari Beier at CYSS.

Thank you!
