To Sign up for a Mentor Training Workshop: Go to

1. SAFE sign in at: https://safe.ode.state.oh.us/portal/

2. Sign into SAFE

3. Click on Green “complete profile” note

4. Click “Finish”

5. Type in “resident” in search box

6. click “event sponsor” to open drop down list.

7. Choose “Department of Education”

8. Leave all other fill ins as is

9. Click “search”

10. Wait until timer stops turning

11. Scroll down to view the list of workshops

12. 2 day workshops are called: Ohio Resident Educ…

13. If you want to change/cancel registration: go back one site to “STARS Dashboard” and highlight your registration. Then choose “Change Registration” (?)

14. Keep checking your email. You may have been taken off the waiting list and have been registered. (?)

To check on available workshops: Go to:

1. SAFE sign in at: https://safe.ode.state.oh.us/portal/

2. Sign into SAFE (your user name has 6-10 letters and numbers, password has lettters/numbers and symbol)

3. Click on “ STARS V2.0

4. Click on “Events Search”

5. Type in “resident” and

6. Click arrow in “Events Sponsor/Owner” drop down menu
