Purpose
To come together as five deaneries in Metro-Toledo to ensure the future of our Catholic schools

Outcomes

  • To be an active participant in crafting configuration proposals for each deanery (e.g. partnerships, mergers, twining, etc.)
  • To explore and share best practices, innovative models, procedures, and creative ideas for possibilities
  • To develop a unique set of action plans and timelines for each deanery
  • To understand the progress made since the November Summit
  • To have a clear understanding of next steps for collaboration and implementation

2006-2007 Annual Imperatives

  • Develop configuration proposals for each deanery
  • Develop funding models for new school configurations
  • Assess and develop curricular and co-curricular programming appropriate for all grades
  • Develop comprehensive programs dedicated to the spiritual formation of all students, families, and school personnel
  • Involvement of parishes without schools
  • Provide necessary student transportation
  • Develop a process for communicating the rationale for change, involving all stakeholders
  • Develop compelling approaches to re-attract and recruit students and families who embrace our mission.
